When a company closes its doors, another company may benefit from that individual’s skill set. That’s what brought Samantha to the Fun Bus in 2015 along with her managerial and customer service experience. A great day of work at the Fun Bus would be successfully navigating the contract and TAXI schedules and getting out of work on time. Samantha would love to experience “THE BIG EASY” with all the food and hoopla it offers on Bourbon Street and beyond. Her personal motto is “We may encounter many defeats, but we must not be defeated.” One memorable experience with the Fun Bus was the move into the new building on E. Main St. in 2017. When away from the Fun Bus, Samantha enjoys relaxing at home, having time to herself, spending time with her 3 grandchildren, watching college football and reality shows such as Swamp People and Deadliest Catch.
Do you want to meet or talk to a warm, pleasant, sweet, helpful person? Then stop by the Fun Bus terminal or call the main Fun Bus line and Suzan will likely provide that exact impression. She worked for a major retail store for 34 years doing customer service, ordering, lose prevention and security, but it then closed. Even though this was the only job she had ever worked or known, Suzan was ready to explore working at a “small business” like the Fun Bus. Suzan is used to being busy, so a good day at the Fun Bus is a busy day. Suzan would love to explore New England with the fall colors and the fun-filled activities is has to offer. Her most memorable experience since coming to the Fun Bus was how all team members came together to help a fellow team member during a tragedy. In her free time, Suzan enjoys crafts, specifically making wreaths. It didn’t surprise us what Suzan expressed as to why customers should choose the Fun Bus for their adventures and transportation — “We try to make sure the trips are about the customers. Making sure they get the details and have a great experience on their trip.”
